Empress Elisabeth, or
Sissi, lived from 1837 until 1898.
She was the beautiful young wife of
Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.
When she was crowned Queen of
Hungary in 1867,
she was wearing this fabulous gown.
This gown is designed by the famous Charles Frederick Worth.
Ever
since I visited Vienna and the Sissi-Museum and private rooms of Sissi,
I have been wanting to create her in miniature, dressed in this gown.
She is hand sculpted from polymer clay, no molds used.
No molds are taken.
