Georgette is a lady from around 1880.
She is dressed in a dinner gown, made of silk and lace.

I picture this lady in a grand hall, where she will talk to the lords and lady's after the banquet.

That's why I put her in this beautful room (digitally).

The original designer of this dress
is John Burbidge, creator of
"Les Petites Dames de Modes"

The overdress is made of a bright red
silk, pulled back into a train and decorated
with silk bows and lace.

The underdress is of mauve silk, overlaid
diagonally with panels of black lace.

The black lace is covered with
sparkling "beading" and Swarovski stones.

Underneath the beautiful gown she wears
cotton pantaloons and a silk/lace underdress.

She is holding a silk/lace fan.

Her shoes are silk and lace, decorated with a mauve colored rhinestone. Leather soles.

She stands alone, without the need of a dollstand.

Her hair is braided at the back and decorated with  pearls, a bow and a flower.

I used my own "Annemarie" mold for this lady. This mold can be ordered here.
