Since Rembrandt is one of the most famous Dutch painters and I
admire and love his work, I wanted to make a tribute to him in
miniature.
So, I sculpted him after a self-portrait he painted a few
years before he died in 1669 and created a little scene in a 3D
Shadowbox of the old master in a Medieval Dutch setting.
In the 3D Shadowbox I created a scene with a velvet curtain,
a chair with pillow and fabric and a small table with
accessories.
On the wall there is a painting of Rembrandt when he was 34 years old.
This is a 12th scale painting of the masterpiece, painted by me
with oil paint on silk-canvas.
