Meet Willem van de Velde de Jonge.

Willem was a Dutch painter, born in Leiden in 1633.  He was the leading Dutch marine painter of the later 17th century. His later paintings shaped the development of seascape painting in England in the 18th century.

​

I sculpted him after a painting made by Lodewijk van der Helst, 1672.

He was a special commissioned doll.
